Twelfthrecon.com is a not-for-profit, educational website dedicated to the 100+ year history of the 12th Reconnaissance Squadron, U.S. Air Force.

Daniel Pool

By profession, Daniel is an Air Force pilot and has been involved in aviation since 2002. He's flown the C-17 Globemaster, RQ-4 Global Hawk and T-6 Texan II. While operating the RQ-4, Daniel was assigned to the 12th Reconnaissance Squadron. It was here he first learned of the rich history of the 12th. For several years, he was the squadron's volunteer historian. This website is an extension of that research.
